Gas customers paying by Monthly Direct Debit will receive a discount off their quarterly Tier 2 consumption charges of 0.270 p/kWh, up to a maximum of £12 (including VAT) per quarter. Based on average annual gas consumption of 20,500 kWh as at 30^th September 2008, is rounded and includes VAT at 5%. Discount received varies according to seasonal consumption. Electricity customers paying by Monthly Direct Debit or Standing Order will receive a discount off their quarterly Tier 2 consumption charges of 1.429 p/kWh, up to a maximum of £10 (including VAT) per quarter. Based on average annual single rate electricity consumption of 3,300 kWh as at 30^th September 2008, is rounded and includes VAT at 5%. Discount received varies according to seasonal consumption.

^ Dual Fuel Discount £14: A dual fuel discount is given where British Gas supplies both gas and electricity to the same property (and the accounts are in the same names). No dual fuel discount is available to customers with token or smartcard electricity meters. Only one dual fuel discount per property. Where electricity is supplied through a credit meter, a discount of 0.537 p/kWh off quarterly electricity Tier 2 rates (and night rates where applicable) up to a maximum of £3.75 (including VAT) per quarter appears on the electricity bill. Based on average annual single rate electricity consumption of 3,300 kWh as at 30th September 2008, is rounded and includes VAT at 5%. Discount received varies according to seasonal consumption.

Notes

Gas

1. Tier 1 applies to the first 670 kWh per quarter and all subsequent consumption is charged at Tier 2.

2. Monthly Direct Debit / Quarterly Cash/Cheque prices also apply to customers paying by Standing Order, Quarterly Variable Direct Debit, Magnetic Payment Card & Quarterly Equal Payments.

3. Gas customers paying by Monthly Direct Debit will receive a discount off their quarterly Tier 2 consumption charges of 0.270 p/kWh, up to a maximum of £12 (including VAT) per quarter.

4. Standing Order Discount is 4.78% of the previous bill up to a maximum of £2.50 per bill (inc VAT). It is applied to the next bill (but not to any outstanding amount).

5. For customers paying by magnetic payment card, an additional charge of 0.373 p/kWh will be applied to Tier 1 prices up to a maximum of £2.50 per quarter (inc VAT).

6.These prices apply to customers using mains gas and to customers using piped propane in Llanfyllin, Llanwrtyd Wells, Colden and Stornoway.

Electricity

1. For single rate meters, Tier 1 rate applies to the first 125 kWh per quarter and all subsequent consumption is charged at Tier 2.

2. For two rate meters, Tier 1 day rate applies to the first 125 kWh per quarter of day consumption and all subsequent consumption is charged at Tier 2. Night means a period, or periods, determined by us (and as may be varied from time to time), totalling 7 hours (at present between 22:00 hours and 08:00 hours) and the night rate applies accordingly.

3. Monthly Direct Debit / Quarterly Cash/Cheque prices also apply to customers paying by Standing Order, Quarterly Variable Direct Debit, Magnetic Payment Card & Quarterly Equal Payments.
